EEPROM update check-box/ Flashing firmware on cluster printers
Closed, ResolvedPublic

When upgrading firmware, and I deselect the EEPROM check-box, it will not retain the Z-offset and E-steps.
Not having to record the E-steps and Z-offset will save me a lot of time when flashing 150+ machines in cluster.

Adding to this, the results seem to be a bit scattered. Just based off what I witnessed from flashing G pod in cluster, half of the machines retained their settings, and half did not.

We should be able to run Cura through terminal and post results for each machine, once we get to flashing our next pod.

Did we have any luck getting logs from these machines?

I think we may have become preoccupied with other projects in cluster, but I will make it a priority to flash a pod tomorrow and get the results posted.

After flashing C pod, I was unable to recreate the original issue. Every machine retained its settings prior to flashing.

Regardless, any time I have to update a pod, I'll make it a point to use Cura through the terminal and record a log.
