@kforrest How slammed are you guys down there? I can work up the white document for the install to give to marketing if need be

It is pretty busy down here. It will help us a lot if you get to it first.

@kforrest Quick write up of the white paper, can you review real quick before getting to @DRobertson ?

@DRobertson Above is the white paper for Banded. It should be the same for Dingy minus pictures, tool head name, and first print model.

Perfect, I'll have the studio all day tomorrow to take pictures for these.

All images are ready for OHAI. They are saved internally and can be linked as needed.

@kent let me know if you need help getting this into a draft OHAI page and then we can get it over to creative for copy edits and cleanup

@adam Yes I could use some help getting this into a draft OHAI page please. Also where can I view the images @DRobertson ?

@kent I've sent the file path to you via email.

adam reassigned this task from kent to Hob.
adam raised the priority of this task from Normal to High.

As we agreed in the Planning Meeting today, MER/Planning will provide basic content of instructions with a simple/rough draft photo to show what's intended. Then Michael will be the point person within Marketing to ensure it is put into final form (both instructions, layout, as well as photos), and ensure MER/Planning reviews prior to final completion.

What date will we get the MER/Planning content?

@Hob Wednesday October 24th =) White document is posted further up in the comment chain. Let us know if you have any questions!

If you haven't created an IT ticket yet, I'm happy to walk you through it.

Once given access to ohai.lulzbot.com, i'll start drafting content for review:

@mcoronado the tool heads are coming with a pack of 5 wiper pad which the customer will need to fill the double wiper pad mount. I noticed on this OHAI draft that it's not pictured or mentioned and I wanted to make sure it gets in there.

@adam thanks for the heads up. I'll have to retake the photo and edit the step copy.

The 18a, 18b, and 18c highlights on the picture don't seem to match the written directions. You will also need to create the link to http://download.lulzbot.com/3D_Models/Wrench/ for the actual stl. I think in the past we've done something like "Load the first print model" and had "first print" be the link to the stl.
The written instructions could probably use some fleshing out and definitely some capitalization policing (lots of unintended lowercase directions in there).
Pictures look good - clear and obvious steps.

@adam steps and capitalization have been corrected.

@DRobertson Will you please keep an eye on this tomorrow? If any changes are needed, feel free to login on my workstation. If they're good to go, please move out of "Drafts" to publish live.

@DRobertson Looks like we're still missing the extra pack of wiper pads in the included materials step 2 and the first print sample filament (unsure if we want to include the filament)

Image has been updated and is attached.

Photo added to step 2

The photo has been swapped out. Please review for approval.

This looks good. I would like to list the included filament in step 2.

@lansky List and photo has been updated to accurately reflect included materials.

General feedback:

Remove all the bulleted steps, and follow the format here: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

Refer to this doc for more info: http://wiki.alephobjects.com/wiki/OHAI_Creation_Best_Practices#Customer-focused_Guides

Keep the bullets on steps 2 and 3.

Note: A lot of the step descriptions and formatting can be copied from: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

Step 1
Add a space between 0.8 and mm:

0.8 mm

Step 2
Update Tool head to the retail name, and link, like:

LulzBot HS Tool Head (Fully Assembled)

Step 3
Add a space between number and unit:

2 mm
2.5 mm

Add items needed for firmware updates:

USB cable, included with your LulzBot Mini 2
GNU/Linux/Windows/Mac-based computer

Step 4

Use the step formatting of:

4A (double space afterwards to force newline)
Do thing.

4B
Do another thing.

Step 5
Note the tools and sizes required, like:

5A
Using the 2.5 mm hex key included with your LulzBot Mini 2, remove the three M3 screws.

5B
Lift off the cover, exposing the tool head connector.

Step 6
We want to guide the user and operate under the presumption that they're new, so we train them to do things in a safe way:

Depress the retaining tab on the connector housing and gently wiggle the connector free. Do not pull on the wires, only the connector housing.

Steps 7, 8, 9, 10
A lot of the step descriptions and formatting can be copied from: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

Step 11
Space between units
Step formatting
Note that they are installing two wiper pads (existing copy is singular).

Update first caption from: Remove old wiper pad

Remove original wiper pad mount

Step 12
Add a double space after each step designation to force the new line:

12A

A lot of the step descriptions and formatting can be copied from: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

Update the copy as needed to fit for this tool head.

Step 18
Use the format here: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

Add new step, 19

Copy Step 18 in this doc: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/lulzbot-mini-2-lulzbot-sl-tool-head-installation/accessories/

From TS:

I definitely think having this is helpful with these toolheads. In my experience I had to adjust the offset on these anytime I was installing them on a printer otherwise my first layer was always too close or too far from the build plate.

@mcoronado I see that some of these edits have been rolled in, but not all. We had at least one delivered last Saturday and several delivered/delivering this week so we need this finalized and pushed to the accessories section as soon as we can get it done.

@adam reformatting these has been a bit of an undertaking. I'll have them published tomorrow. @Orias Thanks for the help w/ Django markdown.
