@kent You already ordered more tables for this correct?

kent added a comment.Jan 30 2019, 7:54 AM

no, I haven't

@logan @kent for now, I think we will only need to purchase 1 more table to set up for TAZ6 frames. I will take care of ordering that bench by putting it with the equipment needed for re-tool of production.
@kent Do you think we will need to have an extra table set up for hot swap? Maybe we will be fine just having an extra set of the hardware available on hand. We can get another table/board pretty quickly and
build another setup if we ever need to replace one.

I recommend having 2 tables for each printer that needs the frame squared. This way we minimize down time for if the fixture breaks or during preventative maintenance.

If there is a way to get just the table top, I think that would be best, since it will take up less room than having two tables. When I looked, though, the type of table was only available with the legs included.

Sounds Good! I will add a couple of extra table tops to the equipment list. Like you said, setting up just the table tops will take up much less room for storing and then we can just swap out using the same workbench.

@bowman We are ordering the same exact table top that we did for quiver, correct? Just want to be sure before I begin designing this assembly

@logan Yes, we will use the same top. I will actually order 3 more so that we can make a new TAZ 6 jig and then extra for both a TAZ6 and TAZ Pro backup's.
I have not ordered this yet, but it is included in the floor plan/expansion costing sheet I am preparing for Grant.

I will get the fixture modeled and assembled in FreeCAD

@kent I have this fixture designed and ready to be pushed for review. Do you want it on taz-olive master or on a branch?
