X-belt seems to rub somewhere during travel
Closed, DuplicatePublic

When the X-axis moves, it seems to be rubbing somewhere in the x-carriage, you can observe the belt get a little twist to it, it also looks like it hits the belt clamp area on the left side when carriage is all the way to the left. The QA checklist asks if there is no rubbing on the x-belt.

@paulette which quiver was this observed on?
See T5889, could it be the issue described there?

@paulette I found this issue when assembling a few machines was a result of the x axis pulley being installed backwards and caused the belt to ride in the wrong position. Set screws should be closest to the motor when it is installed correctly, is this happening with the correct pulley orientation?

@paulette If they are also installed correctly it could be that the wrong space was used in the construction.

@MikeR This may be something we may want to put on the quality inspections, to make sure that the pulleys are in the correct orientation and properly spaced.

@kent Since you are working on updating the QA sheets- see Oliver's comment above.

So the solution we have come up with for this issue is to add it to the checksheets, which I have done. I will merge this ticket into the other check sheet ticket.
