Description

I have created a rough ohai for packaging the quiver. https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/packaging/quiver/

Please give it a look over and post any feed back here. Please keep in mind, this is just a rough one to get started. More pics and steps will likely be added later and part numbers.

A few things to add once we have them -

I know we are still missing part numbers for some of the documentation and what not, but I do like the flow of the Mini 2 packing OHAI: https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/packaging-mini2/mini-2/
we will need those steps.

Step 1- Grab the printer- this could be phrased with-gather materials - this step could have more info in there as well.
step 3 shipping position- this won't be done by the calibrators? or will the packagers have to do this?
I would maybe flip step 3 and 4.. unless there is another reason for it to be set up like this?

Step 8 and 9 could be combined.

Step 10- will need to explain a bit more that you have to take the bed up through the top of the frame to then seat in in the foam.
Step 11 could use more detail too, that they need to place the foam around the rods, and make sure the bottom one is under the tool head and the top one is supporting the x, and that they may have to work a bit to get the 2nd piece in.

Step 12- make a note of making sure the top of the foam is on and that the bed is seated in the foam.

Step 13 should have the part numbers of the tool kit, documentation bag and feed tubes.

Step 13 the cardboard is open, and step 14 is closed and they are using the strapping tool. Should have more instruction on wrapping the cardboard around the and lining the straps up, and more info on how to use the machine.

I know we don't have the box, but we could have the step ready to go about tapping the box together, and then add pictures once them come in.

Review the mini 2 one-- try not to use "you" as much in the OHAI, and be very clear on how to package it. It's defiantly lacking some need details.

@kent Would you like this OHAI updated to reflect the corrugate sleeve's seam positioned downwards as we had boxed the last unit?

My plan is to combine steps 4 & 8, 3 will move to calibration, and then clean up the rest and re-photo as described above.

We need to make a note on there to check to make sure you have allllll the QA records.

AS-PK0038- this has the power connector harness and the idle clamp for single tool head use. This needs to be documented on adding to the tool kit with the white scotch brite pads.

Need to add steps for the documentation bag

The warranty warning card and how to use the friction welder needs to be added as well.

We got some feedback that the feed tubes were becoming kinked during packaging. The method in step 13 here https://ohai.lulzbot.com/project/packaging/quiver/ shows the feed tubes rolled up. I recommend laying the feed tubes out on top of the foam to keep them straight.

@kent I believe the reason we have kinks is due to our calibration stations and red tag shelves. The spacing is set too close together for the PRO to fit without bending at the filament sensor and/or the tool-head. Does the feedback you have include photos or anything that we can use to help determine where in the tubes we are seeing the kinks?

@EricNugent this was found when we unboxed the first 6 that were boxed. I believe they are putting them in with the filament sample/documentation bag now..

levi came up with a way to put the feed tubes in the sample bag so they wouldn't get kinked.

I did take a set of photos but I didn't like them bc they didn't have a blue background. I think we should get a better set up and take another set.

We should add adding the AS-PK0038 to the ohai. It shows up on the bom but no step is shown when or where to add it. I feel we should do the same for AS-PK0036. @EricNugent
