PP-IS0089/90 Insert Jigs
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Debbie in Pre-Sub has requested jigs for installing inserts in Y-Corners Left/Right for Quiver and Redgum.
The style desired is one that sets the limit for how deep the insert should be installed via a fastener below that the iron tip will rest against. This style has been utilized previously for Y Chassis Mounts, for example.

This is ready to go to master of both redgum and quiver repos

@logan this is merged in for Redgum.

@DaniAO this ticket includes changes for Quiver for the same jig in a branch with the same T# in Quiver. Should we open a change order request for this jig change or just merge it in?

I think since it was a late request for new jig creation we should be able to just merge it in. Submitting through CO process seems excessive in this case.

@logan @Steven does it change anything in the manufacturing process at all? If not, then no change order should be needed.

IMO no, because they were already using similar jigs for inserting these parts on previous models. So no change to the process, just an updated fixture.
