AS-CB0075 rev in filename doesn't match rev on drawing
Open, NormalPublic

Description

somehow we ended up with a filename that doesn't match the rev in the drawing. This is an easy fix, we can just update the filename.

While I was working on this, I noticed AS-CB0078 had the same problem so I fixed that on the T8533 branch also.

@kent looks like same as T8535 the drawings were changed to rev A but not the file name. Maybe I'm confusing a past decision but I thought it was decided to add the rev letter to the file name per request from supply chain. Again, I may just be mixing up that decision.

I don't remember either. I'm fine with either way, just let me know and I will update it. @sherylb @jperry Do you have a preference?

I'd prefer to have the Rev letter in the actual file name. We have instances in the past were the file name had a different rev letter than the file and this caused some confusion for our vendors.

Th e Rev letter should be in the title of the file as it is much easier to find what file you are looking for.

Ok the other files in the directory don't have rev letters so I will add them there too on this branch.

The other files are all at IR, so I've just left them as-is. This is ready for review.

@DaniAO do you think it is ok to go forward with this change without a change order? It is changing the file names and the rev on the drawing to make it correct. I think the only notification for this change is Supply Chain which I'm assuming @kent would move forward with once this is merged in.

I just manage them.. and when it was first brought to me it sound like a change order. I am okay with not doing one if we don't have too.. just trying to make sure all things are covered.

@kent @sherylb are you both ok with making sure these changes are distributed to the buyers and suppliers with out us having to make a change order?

I am fine with that. @jperry @kim please note the file name changes on the above files and make sure they have been distributed to the proper vendor. When this is completed, please noted on the ticket so it can be closed. Thank you

@Steven I'm ok with that.

Ok @kent this is now merged into master. I'll leave it open and assign to you to close once notification steps are completed.

@kent Did these change orders ever get fully completed?

@oliver I don't know.

@kim please confirm these AS-CB0075 and AS-CB0078 files have been sent to CCX.

@draubach @guadalupe we made an update to the drawing for the mini case fan assembly AS-CB0075. There was a conflicting rev letter in the file name, I don't know if that was causing any confusion or not for you all. It's just a clarity change, not an actual change to the design or the parts.

@kent I don't think that would have had any sort of effect on how we built it if the drawing itself wasn't incorrect.

The drawing has been updated for AS-CB0075 but has not been signed off on yet.
