Description

The D5 Standard Profile for IC3D ABS PA-747 for the Lulzbot Mini are ready for testing.

High Speed and High Quality profiles have been attached.

The Mini prints for the standard profile are done. Most prints came out well. The robot's supports did fail. The large surface prints, Splatbag, crate, and flat surface, exhibited peeling at the corners that we see with a lot of ABS. But this is a cold environment with the AC running so I would expect this without an enclosure.

I noticed the warping as well with flat surface, crate and the other large ones. R&D seemed to like the bed at 95C, but I was getting better results at 105C. I left it at 95C anyway. Do you think I should increase this? How does it compare to past ABS print settings?

Also, which file is the robot? I don't believe I tested that one.

@MattIC3D ideally we would like to keep it under 100 to help the longevity of PEI. Our other ABS profiles bed temps are north of 100c, so going to 105 shouldn't be a problem.

Robot:

Its a pretty tough test, and generally do not consider a profile a "fail" when the supports pop loose.

@karrad I actually didn't test that part often. I can run it on my batch of high speed and high quality profiles.

I don't mind the bed temp being 95C. I can run some tests at 100C or lower to see if it still prints well.

The ABS continues to print well with minimal (but some) curling on corners. The Robot's support continues to fail after multiple tries.

@MattIC3D We just did your profile review today, and these things look great. The only tweak we needed to make was bumping the bed up to 105c to help reduce warping, everything else is stock. When you submit the High Detail and High Speed versions, please put them on the same ticket for testing.

@victor_larchenko Please update the Mini IC3D ABS protected profiles into Cura 2. These two files were posted by MattIC3D on 07/13/17.
