Description of issue: Support material is generated regardless of angle setting

Steps to reproduce: open an .stl with a 45 degree angle with the angle setting at anything over 45 and support is still printed

@ross Sorry to hear about the issues! While attempting to duplicate this on our end, we were unable to do so. Updating the support angle affected the print as expected:

Can you post the STL file you are using that is having issues?

Zoom in on the part in layer view once sliced. The gap between the part and the support is too large to for it to attach to the part. This results in a spaghetti mess but just the support material is affected. The part comes out pretty good it just takes longer to print.

Checking over your STL file, I am able to duplicate your issue having the support be generated where it shouldn't be:

Looking over the file, I see it does have 14 manifold errors. (gaps in the mesh that can confuse the slicing engine) Would you be able to repair those and try again?

Checking with a similar model regarding support generation (being built ontop of itself) I was unable to duplicate this with a model that has no manifold errors:

The strange part here is even when using support blocker, I am unable to get that support to not be generated on that specific model:

I haven't had to repair a file in a long time. I thought CURA took care of that. The attached was repaired by Netfabb and still produces the same issue. why does 3.2 not have the issue?
