This works much better. I like it.

@karrad all the menu items look great in blue. I went through each menu setting and everything looks good.

The icons and menu navigation works well as it is. I had one issue with the text for bed temperature being a little difficult to read, but beyond that it is very similar to Taz Pro, which I think is nice.
This is fine with me, but it will affect the quickstart guide which is essentially complete. Once you have the color scheme finalized we can turn the QSG around in a few days.

I agree with @eBeardslee that the overall enclosure is very large for the build volume, but given the aggressive time line, and requirements from other departments I don't have any ideas for how to improve on this design. I consider this a good compromise.

@karrad ok, works for me.

@karrad having the spools on the outside really kills the aesthetics of the machine. It also covers up all the branding, obfuscates the window we talked about in a meeting yesterday, and drastically increases the overall footprint. With all that space on the inside it seems like a huge waste. The "full build volume" argument makes sense, but speaking anecdotally I have yet to ever see anyone use the full build volume for any application. Furthermore, when we were testing the theory of doing a full build volume print on a TAZ, we calculated that the weight of the print alone would prevent the print from completing successfully. If it's impossible for one reason, why hold back on a design choice for a similar reason?

I have a rough draft for the Sodium Alginate process, and a second draft of the life support process ready for review:
Dave is getting started on the written version of the QSG.

Sorry for the delay - artwork/copy looks good to me. Consider this approved on my end.

Yes, lets stick with what we are already doing - clear bag and printed, in-house label.

After some more testing with 3.6.15 firmware and profiles, I feel the PA-CF profile is dialed in enough to send to a reviewer. The results are as good as I have gotten from a 0.5mm nozzle.

My favorite of the samples @DaniAO shared with me is the SM-9947. I'd like to get a few samples and see what they look like. If we don't have time, or need a different size/shape I'm fine with using the current green bags for the product launch.

@Steven Sounds good, we will take a look.

I have done this a few times now, and it seems like the key to switching from PA-CF is to always crank the heat way up. Even if the PA-CF has been sitting in the nozzle, turning up the temp to 275 seems to be enough to successfully switch back to PLA.

I've run two prints with PA-CF. Both were done with dry filament, Cura 3.6.11 firmware, and the T8010 profiles:

I flashed .134 on my production quiver. The nozzles wipe in the correct location, and calibration was a success. This is the most successful print I've done.

I have no preference on the type or color of screws. Function over form is fine here.

I've had some issues with nozzles getting clogged when printing with the Polycast. I have had two TAZ Aerostruders, one one Mini SE tool head get clogged after completing prints and letting the nozzles cool.

I am getting good results using the standard PolyLite PLA profile.

@Steven this was straight out of the packaging, but it didn't have any of the signs of moisture Adam warned me to look for. No popping sounds or steam.

Sorry, this was high speed.
First print with Banded Tiger and X Strand filament resulted in poor print quality:

While this isn't exactly my area of expertise, I'd love to be involved. Incorporating the printer sounds into video transitions was a huge hit, and I'd love to recreate that magic with future hardware. These little touches do a lot for brand recognition, especially as the hardware itself gets quieter and quieter. My rice cooker sings twinkle twinkle little star and I absolutely love it :)

I'm using a mini, and I just flashed the firmware today, so it should be the most recent version.
