@west if we don't need to run it/aren't supposed to run it, why isn't it greyed out?
next shipment is coming in labeled PC-Max, next order we will need to address this.
Put a HS tool head on Quiver 16
Flashing firmware is still a pain. Used 184.108.40.206 for HighStrength
Confusing which plug you need to attach to, but that should be resolved in directions.
Auto calibration was greyed out, which I understand to be purposeful, because auto calibration is setting the difference between nozzles and we only have one on this tool head.
Ran auto backlash calibration: failed spectacularly. Nozzle missed left side of cube entirely and only triggered when it ran into the bed washer. All moves to locate the cube were badly off, but the left side of the cube was the worst since it missed entirely. Relocating to cube to establish Z backlash caused the nozzle to do a very slow crash into the bed. We will probably need new calibration code specific to single extruder tool heads.

The catch there is that we were going to move these out of research_projects like we have with TAZ and Mini, but we don't know what the base model name of this printer is yet. Right now it's internally filed under greek_goddesses with Athena.

I'm seeing the same behavior in quiver 12 with the second layer that's printed on E2 printing much faster than the layer before.

based on struggles I saw - removing the cover might be recommended for single tool heads. If so the screw hinge should be swapped to the other side to better accommodate right-handed users.
I messed with it some more. Here's some feedback:
Support is governed by the support settings in custom. You need to turn on "Generate support" to adjust the settings, but after unchecking the generate support the custom support will use the modifications to the support settings. This could be cleaned up.
You can move and resize the cubes that represent where support is generated by selecting the cubes and using the model tools to adjust them. This causes some odd issues with how the support is calculated. The entire bound of the cube is set as supported rather than just where the cube intersects with the model (see screenshot)
Cubes can be removed by clicking again on them or by deleting them after selecting them (with custom support button unselected).
@karrad looks good to me - sliced just fine for several machines. I am going to kick off a print with it to check the support interface.

Looks like it worked better the other way around. Can we do a quick test to see if it will grab material from the nozzle instead of smearing it all over the heater block?

Tried using the same model as @karrad and several other models. Takes a moment to slice after duplication, but no freezing or crashing.

@logan I will bring it back over to Mountain for you to look at. Were we not testing that as part of calibration or did we not do any type of calibration on the alphas? We may need to rework the testing/calibration procedures to make sure we catch this stuff in production.

Maybe T4954 is the same issue, but quiver 16 is also exhibiting this with my cura. After a point the manual control in cura stops working and I cannot start a new print. I have to reset Cura and the printer to get it to reconnect.
can we add a zero - when I'm done purging or changing filament it doesn't look like there's a quick way to cool down through the LCD
I'm confirming this behavior on quiver 16 as well

@Hob as far as I'm aware we haven't even discussed the retail name for Brizo or if we plan to use a type name for it (ie TAZ + number for each new TAZ that's released). Does this mean we want to set this up on devel under "devel/lulzbot/greek_goddesses"?

Those profiles are in experimental, so not technically supported, but we haven't brought that material into our retail stream yet so we can't move it into supported either.

In Thomas Sanladerer's interview with Sanjay at E3D, there was a short preview of a new extruder/hot end combo under development. It might be worth reaching out to E3D to see if we can get a preview of anything they have in development.

@Orias @mcoronado these OHAIs are still not published. It looks like we've sold several of these and although tech support isn't as concerned (these are a fairly easy install) we do need these published as soon as we can. What is holding up these from going live?

Mount adapters have been released and announced.
Since we have stock of each of these adapters in SW I'm going to close this out.
The pocket on the back of the mounts was made deeper for the production units to address plastic flowing into the insert.
