Awesome, that's going to be really nice

Brent MacKenzie at the Colorado Printing Project has one like this:

I (personally) have one set up like that. It needs to be more industrial though, it is a bit on the low budget side.

I was planning on early afternoon, but if there's a time that would work best for you all let me know and I'll make it happen.

Hey all! I'll be up at AM on Friday this week dropping off a batch of wiper pads, if anyone has time I'd be interested in getting together to answer any questions and try to find a better solution going forward.

Hey all! I wanted to chime in and see if I can be of any help. My understanding of it is that the sharper nozzle section of the E3D nozzles (especially the smaller nozzle sizes) is causing the nozzle to sink into the pad farther during the wipe and is just generally better at breaking up the ABS/felt matrix. I Agree with @tutley and @anolen that the MOARstruder is likely just better at hiding the inconsistencies due to the wider and taller bead, but the gentler slope of the nozzle might be playing a part.

I don't unfortunately but it's definitely older than that. I don't believe I've updated the fw at all on this one, it's a factory refurb mini that I got in January this year so it could be pretty old.

Just updated cura and the issue was still present, then updated the firmware and it's fixed since the new probing sequence raises z on it's own. So it'll be a pretty small subset of users that will see the issue, only the people who upgrade to the newer version of cura but don't upgrade their firmware. Might be a good idea to state that updated FW is required for the new cura vs just recommended, or to add the z lift after probe back into the start gcode which should make it work no matter what firmware is on the mini.

Awesome! And not many, I've been waiting for the official release to promote this. Should be fine to make the changes, and sooner will be better than later.

If possible, could the naming be changed to just Twoolhead (1 word) to match my docs? Definitely not necessary but would be cool

1.) no, unfortunately it's based off of some older TAZ 5 and 6 firmware, the TAZ 6 version has v1.0.2 in configuration.h. I'm hoping to get caught up to LulzBot soon but implementing this isn't something I could do well. I did turn on bed PID though!
