Didn't realize that we had received more of them. Got the harnesses and gave them a check over. Everything looks good and this should be good to go to Resolve this ticket

@david.hall the only material we are using for this rework is the heat shrink. 30 mm of HD-TB0075 per harness.
Also in regards to @david.hall's comment, we were planning on reworking 250-500 of these harnesses. As of this morning we have 130 reworked. I am very happy to continue with the reworks as this harnesses is the most time consuming harness we have had since I started working here and the reworks take all of maybe 5 minutes per harness.
The connector is within the heat shrink on both ends of the harness and can't be inside the top heat shrink as that part of the harness sits within the interconnect housing and the black wires would not be able to get plugged in when the control is added to the rest of the printer. Personally, I don't think a zip tie or anything is really necessary to hold it in place. It's within the heat shrink on the other end, shares a connector with the ground on that end, the sleeve holds a pretty good grip on wires, and when it is plugged in on the printer I would imagine that would also help keep it in place. Then again, I just build the cables, so I may just be spitting out nonsense. But the end at the top where all 3 grey wires share a single connector, the black absolutely cannot be in that heat shrink.

Real quick input here as well. @logan is aware and we have discussed fixing this issue, but we are only able to do the wire test on 2 harnesses for redgum currently. The internal and external YZ harnesses are the only ones that can be caught in testing before being put in a control box. That being said, these issues should still be caught at the CB Test, so this is no excuse. Just clarification.

And we have some of these from CCX. Will CCX rework the ones they sent us, or will we need to rework them like with what happened with the EL-HR0160s a few weeks back?
@logan So if it's 420-425mm, it's usable?
@kent comparing the documentation you posted with the one we have in Electro-Mech, there is a difference in spacing for the side opposite of the 10 mm spacing. Ours is calling for 15 mm from end of heat shrink and the one you shared is only calling for 5 mm of heat shrink coming off of the side opposite the 10 mm spacing. So we have not been measuring these out completely due to old documentation. We can definitely make this change and add this to all current wires we have made

@kent I don't think that would have had any sort of effect on how we built it if the drawing itself wasn't incorrect.

Yes all ribbon wire LCD harnesses should be getting tested as Logan said. I will look into whether or not ALL have been getting tested and make sure they do from here on out.
