High flow tool head for next revision of printers
Mon, Apr 1
this process was documented in the "Lulzbot whitepapers" if anyone knows what thoes are.
Sun, Mar 31
I did some research over the weekend, and found a thingiverse page where someone described how they're making their own wiper pads. They're using .25 inch polyester felt, Mcmaster part# 88085K311, cutting them to length, then soaking both sides in Lulzjuice (abs dissolved in acetone). He said thiat this process was documented in the "Lulzbot whitepapers" if anyone knows what thoes are. I think this is exactly what we've been using. Links below;

This looks to be completed. Closing this one for now, can always reopen if needed.
I'm rolling in a few minor edits. Thank you all for this!
This OHAI is now live:
@mcoronado step 4B has a lower case b
I think everything else looks good

Orais: Please review for approval:
@mcoronado I see that some of these edits have been rolled in, but not all. We had at least one delivered last Saturday and several delivered/delivering this week so we need this finalized and pushed to the accessories section as soon as we can get it done.
Both Banded and dingy are in full production

@lansky List and photo has been updated to accurately reflect included materials.
This looks good. I would like to list the included filament in step 2.
Photo added to step 2

Image has been updated and is attached.
@DRobertson Looks like we're still missing the extra pack of wiper pads in the included materials step 2 and the first print sample filament (unsure if we want to include the filament)

@DRobertson Will you please keep an eye on this tomorrow? If any changes are needed, feel free to login on my workstation. If they're good to go, please move out of "Drafts" to publish live.
@adam steps and capitalization have been corrected.

The 18a, 18b, and 18c highlights on the picture don't seem to match the written directions. You will also need to create the link to http://download.lulzbot.com/3D_Models/Wrench/ for the actual stl. I think in the past we've done something like "Load the first print model" and had "first print" be the link to the stl.
The written instructions could probably use some fleshing out and definitely some capitalization policing (lots of unintended lowercase directions in there).
Pictures look good - clear and obvious steps.

Aside from the requested addition (above) a draft is ready for review:
@adam thanks for the heads up. I'll have to retake the photo and edit the step copy.
Final profile tweaks and feedback have been moved into cura and it is capped - closing this as resolved.
If there are print issues, please open another ticket for specific issues.
Profiles are updated and loaded into CuraLE - closing as resolved.
closing as resolved
closing out since product is released and this model is in the repo as the first print.
Product is released for backorder

@mcoronado the tool heads are coming with a pack of 5 wiper pad which the customer will need to fill the double wiper pad mount. I noticed on this OHAI draft that it's not pictured or mentioned and I wanted to make sure it gets in there.
5 ea of both Banded and Dingy have been completed for initial build to verify routing/BoM's. Now ramping up production on both.

Just a heads up everyone, we plan to set a release candidate tomorrow. Get your feedback in now!
Machine Type: Mini with adapter
Toolhead Type: Banded (HS)

Material Being Used: ABS
Estimated age of filament: A few weeks

Adjustments to profile: I added supports only touching build plate, and added a support roof to try and make removal easier.
